Introduction

So how can you get started using fbsid Schoology? This guide will explain how to sign up for an account, set up your school’s classes and programs, and take advantage of other features. Section 1: How do I sign up for an account on Schoology?
- Go to fbsid schoology.com/signin/new_user/create_account/. Enter your school name in the “Organization” field and click “Next.” You’ll see some information about Schoology listed on this page; click “Continue” when you’re ready to proceed with registering for an account.
- You’ll be prompted to enter your email address, which should be the same as the one you use for school email accounts if possible (this will make it easier for students who need help accessing their classes). Then enter a password twice before clicking “Create Account” at the bottom of the page.” Now try logging into your new account: go back to schoology.com/signin/new_user/, enter your email address again when prompted, then type in your password carefully before clicking on “Sign In!” If all goes well, you should now see several tabs at the top of your screen labeled Home Dashboard Calendar Activity Groups Lessons Course Planner Profile Settings Notifications Settings Options Logout
Sign in to the Google account that is linked to your student email.
To access fbisd Schoology, you must sign into the Google account linked to your student email. You can sign in on any device and have access to all of your assignments and progress.
To login:
- Click “Sign In” at the top right corner of the Schoology page.
- Enter [your fbsid schoology username]@schoology.net (or if already enrolled, use [your schoology username]. Your password will be set as what is listed under your profile or when you last logged in.)
Sign in to Schoology using your Facebook login.
- Sign in to fbsid Schoology using your Facebook login.
- Link your Facebook account to your student account by entering the email address associated with that account.
- In addition to linking a single Facebook account, you can also link multiple accounts (but not more than 5).
- If you’ve already created a student/teacher account and want to connect it with another one, go to Settings under “About Me” and choose “Link Another Account.” Click on “Connect with Google” or “Connect With Facebook.”
Click “Link an Existing SIS Account” and enter the ID: 2552.
- Click on the link.
- Enter 2552 as your ID number and click on the correct link. You will be prompted to enter an email address, which should be a valid email address that you use frequently or have access to when you are away from your school computer or home computer. If you do not have one of these options available, don’t hesitate to contact your school’s IT department for assistance with logging into fbisd Schoology using FacebookIdSIS login credentials.
Click on Foreign Login (below the FBISD Schoology login), then click on Canvas Foreign Login and choose Schoology.

- Click OK, and you will be redirected to your Schoology account, where you will see your username in green text at the top of your screen, followed by a blue button that says Sign In.
- Once you have signed in to fbisd schoology, you will be directed back to our FBISD-hosted Canvas course page with this message: Please update any outdated settings: The course settings are up-to-date because they were last modified on {date}.
Sign in using your Google account with @fbisdstudents.org.
You will need your student’s ID, last name, first name, and grade level to sign in. In addition, you should understand your email address.
Once you are signed in:
- Click on the class that you want to access. A list of all students enrolled in the class will appear at the top of your screen, along with other information about them like their test scores or attendance record.
- Use the search box at the top right corner of any page while logged into fbsid schoology if there is no specific class listed under your student’s name (for example, “Marketing”).
