Redmi Note 8 to support 25X Zoom with its 64MP Camera

The upcoming Redmi Note 8 series is in the leaks from few days and is scheduled to be announced officially on 29th of August. We already know that Redmi has developed its own 64MP camera sensor based on Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 making it the first in the industry with such resolution camera. Now the company has released a poster that reveals the 25X zoom feature of the phone.

According to the poster released the Redmi Note 8 series will have a luxury-level imaging experience and a hair-level ultra-clear image quality. Furthermore, the poster flaunts the zooming capability of the device showing clear details of the bird. The Note 8 series will be coming with 64MP camera sensor with the resolution of up to 9248 x 6936 pixels and supports Remosaic photos.

This resolution is almost twice that of 8K resolutions and the 64MP photosensitive area is as high as 1/1.7-inch which is 34 percent higher than that of a 48MP CMOS. Furthermore, this camera is combined with four-in-one 1.6μm large pixels mode to provide even better night photos. The Redmi Note 8 series is also first to get the latest MediaTek Helio G9OT chip with is based on dual-core Cortex A76 architecture. The vice president of Xiaomi and general manager of Redmi have said that the processor will be offering gaming features like chip-level network delay optimization.

There is also a Mali-G76 GPU that can reach the frequency up to 800MHz. The Note 8 series should be coming out of the box with the latest Android 9 Pie operating system with the companies own UI on top.
