TVS Motor Company is gearing up to launch its first-ever adventure touring motorcycle, the TVS RTX 300, on 15 October 2025. The bike, which has been in development for some time, was recently showcased to VIPs at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025, giving enthusiasts a glimpse of its design and features.
Engine and Performance
The RTX 300 will be powered by TVS’ new 299cc liquid-cooled RTX D4 engine, producing 35bhp and 28.5Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox, promising a balance of performance and refinement for both city rides and long-distance touring.
Design and Chassis
Leaked images suggest the RTX 300 has a purposeful adventure-oriented design. Key styling elements include a sharp fairing, small beak, large windshield, and slim tail section. The bike features a steel trellis frame with a USD front fork and a rear monoshock for suspension. It rides on a 19-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel, with disc brakes on both ends for stopping power.
Features and Technology
The TVS RTX 300 is expected to come loaded with modern features, such as a colour TFT display, multiple ride modes, traction control, and other rider aids. These features aim to enhance both safety and convenience for adventure touring enthusiasts.
Market Positioning
Set to compete with bikes like the KTM 250 Adventure, the RTX 300 is expected to be priced competitively, making it an appealing option for those entering the adventure bike segment in India.
The launch on 15 October is highly anticipated, and TVS enthusiasts are keen to see how the RTX 300 performs both in terms of handling and long-distance touring capabilities.
